What sets this tour apart is that 100% of the profits generated from The Experience by Begawan are dedicated to supporting the Begawan Learning Centre, providing free quality education for local children, contributing to the Bali Starling conservation efforts, as well as expanding regenerative agriculture for an increase in earnings for the farmers in our village.

The highlight of The Experience is the visit to the Bali Starling Breeding & Release Center, a crucial conservation site dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of the endangered Bali Starling, a native bird species found only in Bali. The centre serves as a sanctuary for these magnificent birds with the aim to increase their population through successful breeding programs and responsible release into the wild. Begawan Learning Centre : A Fun Way to Study After-School

For me it’s really fun to come out to the field to the release site and see starlings flying freely in the field.”
